About Numbers

The Lexicon of numbers was first released in 2003. All English number words are included. Such as 'one', 'thirteen', 'fifty', 'thousand', and 'million', etc.. These number words are used to construct number expressions. Unlike regular English words, these number words do not have part of speech.

There are three files for number words in the lexicon of numbers. For the example of 'one':

  • number.entries
