Journal Descriptors

Journal Descriptors are preferred MeSH terms that describe journals. Each Journal has a ID, called JID. Each JID is related to certain JDs. For example, the Journal of Pediatric Surgery (JID: 0052631) is indexed by the JDs Pediatrics and Surgery.
